A major overseas job opportunity is available for experienced quality control professionals who want to work in Saudi Arabia. Hyundai Engineering & Construction is currently hiring skilled QC Inspectors for the SACE2 Jafurah Gas Plant Project under Saudi Aramco.

The recruitment is being managed by Ambe Consultancy Services, a government-approved recruiting agency with offices in Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, and Chandigarh.

These positions are specifically for professionals with experience in oil and gas, refinery, and petrochemical EPC projects. Candidates with relevant certifications and strong inspection experience are encouraged to apply.

Available Positions :

The recruitment drive includes several QC inspection roles related to welding, piping, heat treatment, and valve testing.

QC Inspector Welding

Candidates applying for this role must possess strong experience in welding inspection and testing procedures.

Requirements include:

  • AWS, CWI, or CSWIP 3.1 certification
  • Minimum three years of direct welding inspection experience
  • Knowledge of engineering codes and welding standards

Relevant codes and standards include:

  • ANSI
  • ASME B31.3
  • ASME B31.4
  • ASME B31.8
  • ASME BPVC Sections V and IX
  • AWS D1.1

Inspectors will be responsible for monitoring welding procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project quality standards.

QC Inspector Piping 

This role focuses on piping system inspection and compliance with international engineering standards.

Key requirements include:

  • AWS, CWI, or CSWIP 3.1 certification
  • Minimum three years of direct work experience
  • Strong understanding of piping engineering codes and inspection procedures

Inspectors must be familiar with the following standards:

  • ASTM
  • API
  • IEC
  • NEMA
  • UL
  • FM
  • NFPA
  • ASME BPVC

Responsibilities include inspecting piping systems, verifying installation quality, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications.

QC Inspector PWHT (Post Weld Heat Treatment)

The PWHT inspector role focuses on monitoring heat treatment procedures applied to welded materials.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing PWHT reports and charts
  • Coordinating with welding subcontractors and clients
  • Monitoring daily PWHT operations
  • Training and supervising PWHT technicians
  • Managing non-conformance reports related to PWHT work

Candidates must have experience in heat treatment inspection within oil and gas or petrochemical projects.

QC Inspector Valve Testing

Valve testing inspectors are responsible for inspecting valves used in oil and gas pipelines and processing systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting valve testing inspections according to API 598 and API 6D standards
  • Reviewing valve testing procedures and documentation
  • Preparing inspection reports
  • Conducting valve material receiving inspections
  • Coordinating with testing vendors and project clients

Candidates must have experience in valve inspection and testing procedures within EPC projects.

Eligibility Criteria :

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements before applying for these positions.

  • 7 to 14 years of experience in the relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience in oil and gas, refinery, or petrochemical EPC projects
  • Certification such as AWS, CWI, or CSWIP 3.1 for welding and piping roles
  • Knowledge of international engineering codes and inspection standards
  • Experience in construction and pre-commissioning inspection activities

Candidates who have worked on Saudi Aramco projects may have an advantage during the selection process.
