STFA Group is currently hiring experienced professionals for Marine Surveyor, Hydrographic Surveyor, Marine Survey Engineer, and Hydrographic Survey Engineer roles in Libya. Available Job Positions

Marine Surveyor / Hydrographic Surveyor

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or ITI in Surveying or Hydrography
• 7 to 12 years of experience in marine or hydrographic surveying
• Minimum 2 marine project experiences such as ports, breakwaters, dredging, or reclamation

Key Skills

• Proven experience in MBES Bathymetric Survey (including system setup, calibration/patch test, data acquisition, quality control, and processing)
• Experience with NORBIT MBES systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of marine machine control and positioning systems
• Experience with Trimble Machine Control / TMC (PDS2000-based systems)
• Capable of handling setup, commissioning, calibration, and operational support on marine equipment such as excavators, cranes, and barges

Marine Survey Engineer / Hydrographic Survey Engineer

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Geomatics, Surveying Engineering, Hydrography, Geodesy, or Civil Engineering
• 10 to 16 years of experience in marine/hydrographic surveying and construction support
• Minimum 3 marine project experiences (ports, dredging, reclamation, breakwaters)

Key Skills

• Strong expertise in MBES bathymetric survey processes (setup, calibration, acquisition, QC, and processing)
• Experience with NORBIT MBES systems is a strong plus
• Advanced knowledge of marine machine control systems and Trimble TMC (PDS2000)
• Ability to manage calibration, verification, and design data import/export
• Strong reporting and documentation skills in English
