- Ice Plant & Chiller Mechanic
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial ice plant or chiller maintenance.
- Experience with reciprocating and screw compressors.
- Good knowledge of refrigeration systems, PLC controls, and three-phase electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical faults.
- Technical Diploma or Certificate in Refrigeration, HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial ice plant and chiller systems.
- Servicing compressors, condensers, evaporators, and cooling towers.
- Refrigerant charging, oil changes, filter replacement, and leak detection.
- Repairing gearboxes, conveyor motors, expansion valves, and pressure regulators.
- Reading PLC fault codes and performing electrical testing using multimeters.
- Ensuring safe startup and shutdown of refrigeration systems.
