Oman Shutdown Job Vacancies 2026: Lead Roles in Oil & Gas Turnaround Project

These positions are for a major shutdown/turnaround project in the fertilizer/petrochemical/heavy chemical industry, focusing on maintenance, static/rotating equipment, civil works, E&I, and HSE supervision.

Available Job Positions in Oman (Shutdown Project) :

• Lead Mechanical – OMR 1200 Qualification: BE (Mechanical) with 7–8 years experience OR Diploma (Mechanical) with 20 years experience Experience: Fertilizer/Petrochemical industry (turnaround & maintenance of static/rotating equipment required) Responsibilities: Supervise mechanical maintenance, team coordination, insulation/cold insulation, timely execution
• Lead QA/QC – OMR 1200 Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical with minimum 20 years experience Experience: Fertilizer/Petrochemical maintenance of static equipment during shutdowns/turnarounds Responsibilities: Monitor/control quality, ensure compliance with inspection standards, documentation, client specs
• Lead Civil – OMR 1000 Qualification: BE (Civil) with 8 years industrial experience OR Diploma (Civil) with 15 years industrial experience Responsibilities: Supervise civil maintenance, structural works, industrial construction, ensure quality/safety/timely completion
• Lead E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) – OMR 1000 Qualification: BE in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control with 10 years experience OR Diploma with 20 years experience Experience: Fertilizer/Petrochemical industry Responsibilities: Lead/supervise E&I maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, calibration during shutdown activities
• Lead HSE – OMR 1000 Qualification: BE (Mechanical/Chemical) or Diploma in Engineering + Diploma in Safety with 15 years experience Experience: Fertilizer/Petrochemical/Heavy Chemical Industry (shutdown preferred) Responsibilities: Implement HSE policies, JSA, SWP, site supervision, safety training, reporting
