Qualifications, Experience & Skills :

EAF Senior Technicians

• Minimum Qualification: Technical Diploma (irrelevant area as minimum requirement)
• Minimum Experience: Relevant work experience in plant/process operations
• Skills:
  • Basic knowledge (Generic/Technical) of both equipment
  • Full process operation in own area
  • Complete knowledge of operation and safety procedures
  • Deep knowledge of plant safety & occupational health
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Analytical capability
  • Basic computer skills (written and spoken)

LF Senior Technicians :

• Minimum Qualification: Technical Diploma in specialist area, degree preferred
• Minimum Experience: Relevant experience in electric arc furnace process & operations
• Skills:
  • Job-specific technical skills
  • Very good English language (writing, speaking)
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of safety, environment, and quality procedures
  • Knowledge and understanding of process calculations and computations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
  • Problem-solving skills, technical report writing, budgeting processes
  • Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office)
